Thank you for your interest in finding a local congregation of the churches of Christ.  This is the church of the Bible (Romans 16:16).  Furthermore, you and I are instructed by God's Word to worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).  Thus, this means that where and how we worship is important in God's sight.  To worship in spirit means to worship with the thoughts, desires, faith, and obedience centered on God in all acts of worship.  To worship in truth means that one must worship according to what is written in the New Testament of the Bible.  To worship in ways outside of the teachings of the New Testament apostles' and writers' teachings consists of vain worship that God does not accept (Acts 2:42; Matthew 15:9; Galatians 1:8-9).  So please take the time to research the New Testament church and become a part of it (Acts 2:14-47).  We must be a part of the church to be saved according to the Bible.  In other words, there is no salvation outside of the church.  Jesus is the Savior of the body, which is another name for the church (Acts 2:47; Ephesians 5:23).
